First the basement. The metal beam (1800 pounds!) has been put up, studs removed, ceiling put in and floor poured. You can see the difference in the wall between the old and new basement. There is a row of large windows in the back to provide light, as well as a means of egress if we ever turn the area into a bedroom.
The first floor has been largely framed. Here is the current view of the kitchen. Where there used to be a tarp, there is another metal beam and you can now see into the new breakfast area and family room.
The rest of the first floor (you can see part of the third metal beam):

You can see the other side of the metal beam from the family room on the floor. This area will have the master bedroom, closet and bath, an office (not in the picture) and the laundry room. I am SO excited to have a second floor laundry. No more hauling laundry baskets up and down the stairs.
Here is a view of the rear of the house.
From here you can see the new basement and windows on the bottom left, the new family room on top of it, and the sunroom on the right. Next up is framing for the second floor, and then the roof goes up. Once that's done, I'll feel a lot better about when it rains (and hopefully there isn't too much more).
